Hampton Seniors Social Club

The Hampton Seniors Social Club are a group of community members who gather once a month to stay ’in the know’ with what’s happening around Hampton and the Seacoast area.  Get involved with us and make some new friends, see some great entertainers, enjoy some laughs, great music, and make lasting memories with some wonderful company!

Bone Builders

This program is designed for seniors to help you stay physically active through exercise. The course focuses on flexibility, strength, agility and balance, and endurance to help protect your body. There is currently a waiting list for the Bone Builders class and a medical release is required from your Doctor. Please contact our office to be added to the wait list and to receive a cop of the release form.

Yoga with Sue

Gentle Flow: The class blends strength with flexibility and is great for anyone who is fit and active and wants a yoga class that emphasizes holding the poses. Stretching out tight muscles can reduce the risk of injuries so this class is perfect for active bodies of all kinds.

All Levels: This class is for people who work our regularly including: runners, bikers, walkers, golfers, gardeners or anyone with an active lifestyle. Participants will learn how to use yoga to prevent injuries, improve flexibility and better yourself. (No class third Monday of every month)     

Yoga Basics: Have you always wanted to try yoga or practiced years ago and are not sure how “your new body” will feel? Do you want to work on slowly getting into yoga postures with proper alignment for you? Are you coming back from injury, surgery, or a period of inactivity? Then this class is YOUR class. We will gently work to restore flexibility, build up strength, and work on balance in a safe, caring environment. Bring a yoga mat, water, and an open nonjudgmental mind. Hopefully, you will leave class more refreshed and centered.

Kat Cooper Pilates 

Pilates is a powerful body sculpting class designed to give you lean, long muscles and will reshape your body from head to toe. Using specific alignment and breathing techniques, you will learn how to work through your “powerhouse” to get amazing results. The focus is on form, breathing, timing and getting in touch with muscles you didn’t even know you had. You will increase the flow of oxygen to your muscles and brain, increase strength and flexibility, elongate the spine and improve balance and coordination.

New York City Trip

Join us for a day trip to the Big Apple, via comfy coach bus! We will head down to New York City, and then the day is yours to enjoy in whatever way you wish! Spend your time shopping, sight-seeing, visit family or friends, dine at your choice of many world-class restaurants, or even take in a matinee on Broadway.

The bus departs from old Town Hall parking lot. Once in NYC, drop off and pick up will be at Bryant Park

Merry Christmas! Join Hampton Rec for the annual "Magic of Christmas" concert event with the Portland Symphony Orchestra at the Merrill Auditorium in Portland, ME.
